The Scene Opens….

 

At her loft, wearing University of Arizona Wildcat sweats and tank top, barefoot with her nails polished white and her hair slicked back in a ponytail, the gorgeous UWA Cruiserweight Champion sits on the arm of her couch and looks at the camera. It is already night fall, a glass of red wine in her hand as she sips before hitting record on the camera….

 

REC:

 

She sits back, the Cruiserweight Championship placed on the coffee table. Peyton speaks in her sexy girly voice, obviously a bit annoyed….

 

“I doubted Niles Gray, but I made him a promise and fought my tail off to get his job back. I believe what he says now, I know that he is truly being genuine which in many ways is refreshing. I know how much Niles wants to prove to the UWA that they made the right decision giving him a second chance and I can now be proud of keeping my word and playing my part. Everyone deserves a second chance. Niles will come to compete, he knows the magnitude of this match and the importance for the division. It is an honor to defend the title against you Niles…..

What disappoints me is Doc Morningwood.

Why are you allowing Siouxsie Blade to get in your head? This is what she wants. You have an opportunity to become the Cruiserweight Champion and Main Event Outbreak like you have so many other times in the past, instead you are willing to sacrifice all of that for Siouxsie Blade who is already guaranteed a Title match in January? Why not try to win the Cruiserweight belt and defend it against her and exact revenge that way? I don’t understand this approach and it’s upsetting me because I want EVERYONE in this match to come ready to take this title. I want you at the very best you can be Doc, I want to wrestle the woman that gave me everything she had and almost beat me at Against All Odds and, yet you have allowed Siouxsie Blade to automatically win!?

Come and wrestle Dr. Morningwood, please! This is about more than just you and me, this is about Kade, Niles and Carter NOT Blade. I have never allowed any distractions to get in my way of pursuing or defending this belt. I want this division to mean something and this is our chance to showcase it and instead you want to be selfish?

Fine Doc, do whatever you want, I’m coming to Outbreak for one reason and that is defending this Cruiserweight Championship in the spotlight the UWA so kindly gave us. You want to sacrifice that, then fine….

I know Carter, Niles and Kade won’t…..

And especially me.”

 

She pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath. She is very disappointed in Doc Morningwood. She also heard the things Mara Kade had said about her and the match. She looks back at the camera and speaks…

 

“Mara….

You have this delusion you’re the big bad evil. I have taken beatings by women that shit bigger than you ever will. You have me all wrong, thinking I’m afraid of you, that I shouldn’t show up, that I will run because you’ll beat me up. I guess working in the business for chump change and sleeping in your car self-entitles you to act like a bitch, it doesn’t. I had the means to attend a stand-up academy and learn my trade, you did on the job training. That’s good, it makes you seasoned and that’s about it. Come tomorrow night I will walk up to your face and slap the spit out of your dirty mouth to show just how much I fear you.

You want a to be my nightmare? Sorry honey, seeing my father in a wheelchair is my nightmare! Watching this division be sacrificed for some hip and edgy is my nightmare! Not being able to contribute to this sport and be the best I can be for my father and my fans?

THAT IS MY NIGHTMARE!

What you are is just another woman that thinks because she can talk a game and is on some stupid world tour thinks she is the end all of everything. Well, take a good look at my ass, you’ll be seeing it climbing that ladder and taking my belt…..

And then you can rock on all you want Mara….

Knowing that I’m not just another “Pretty” face!”

The Scene Opens….

 

At her loft, wearing ripped jeans and a light black sweater, barefoot with her nails polished white and her hair slicked back in a ponytail, the gorgeous UWA Cruiserweight Champion stands by her French doors, looking out at the city of New York. With such a huge match and pressure on her, the beautiful Peyton Rice has been preparing and awfully quiet on Twitter where many have been wondering where she has been. She turns and starts to record….

She starts to speak with her cute, girly voice while holding the title…

 

“Niles Gray said it best, there are moments that defy you as a person. 5 years ago, I had to walk into a hospital room and expect the worse when a roof beam collapsed on my father while he was trying to get a few people trapped out of a burning building, he saved them and in doing so paid the price by being paralyzed. Firefighters are paid to take risks, my dad could have chosen not to go in, he did and that makes him a hero…. My hero. When I entered the sport of wrestling, one thing I never did was tell him I was going to do so. I was afraid of what he would say or think of me. See, I didn’t just come to wrestle for Peyton Rice, I came to wrestle for my dad. I wanted him to be proud of me, that I could go out there and be someone, sure I was in school and had dance in my background, art, I’m a good student but this sport sucked me in hard and that’s why I am here today. Niles Gray, Carter Caruthers, Mara Kade and Doc Morningwood are four wrestlers who each want what I have.

Carter talks a good game, he wants to change the landscape of the Cruiserweight Division, show the entire world why he can be the face, problem is Carter has failed on numerous occasions and while I will always believe in chances, I think his has ran out. I won’t say that he doesn’t belong in this match but there are others more qualified to be here than him. Carter has the same problem Mara Kade has, diarrhea of the mouth. Mara will have you believe she is unstoppable, the next Champion, her shit doesn’t stink. She’s had a lot of derogatory things to say about me, even attacking us after our match at Against All Odds. Mara is dangerous and talented, there is absolutely NO WAY I would ever downplay that at all but what she needs is to be humbled a little, thrown down a few rungs in the ladder, let it be known this is NOT her division to be played with….

It’s no one’s.

We are competitors that have come here to wrestle and stand for something we all believe in. I think the best way to show that is by Main Eventing Outbreak.”

 

She knows just how big of a stage this is for her, Peyton aside from a PPV here or there has seen great action like Olympus and Against All Odds, this is now a chance to show why her next step is the main roster….

 

“Mara and Carter, you two are both cut from the same cloth, self-entitled, believe that everything belongs to you, that the rest of us are under your so-called positioning. That’s why I do this, I look into my father’s eyes and I can see the hurt, the pain and agony, wishing he could stand back up and walk one more time. I take nothing for granted, it took me some time to realize that, mature a little. I didn’t know how all this would turn out, maybe that is why I was starting to get upset, I wanted it too much, too fast. My dad taught me that all good things come to those who wait. So I look right at you Mara and Carter….

You’re just going to have to wait a little longer.

I am champion for a reason and NO ladder is going to stop that, I may wrestling an uphill climb, I could see my title escape my hands at the end of the night but no matter what happens I plan to do it as a fighting champion so Mara and Carter….

Doc and Niles….

I promise you one thing….

At her loft, wearing ripped jeans and a light black sweater, barefoot with her nails polished white and her hair slicked back in a ponytail, the gorgeous UWA Cruiserweight Champion sits comfortably on the couch, the title brandished on the coffee table. The beautiful Peyton Rice has a huge task ahead of her defending the title in a Ladder match on Outbreak in the Main Event which is added pressure to the beauty. She leans in and turns on the camera…

It starts to record, she speaks in her cute, girly voice….

 

 

“The Main Event….

That is a big step and a lot of pressure to close out one of the remaining Outbreaks of 2017 and I have to say I’m pretty excited about it. The chance to showcase the cruiserweights talents, to prove why Turmoil exists and shouldn’t be combined with EMERGE. This is what I live for and with the title on the line, I go up against the best in the division bar Piper Street and Siouxsie Blade which I am sure no one can argue, they belong in the match. Siouxsie will get first crack at the title in the first Outbreak of 2018, rightfully so but I can’t think about that now, for my toughest test comes Monday and I don’t even need to be involved in the decision to lose this Cruiserweight Championship. When I wrestled Dr. Grace Morningwood, it was probably one of the best moments I have had so far in my young career, she is a legend who has done so much and for me to score a victory on her is a testament to David Helms and the job they have done training me at the Ante Up Academy…..

And now it will be put to the test again.

Doc gets another chance to take home the Cruiserweight Championship, all she must do is climb the ladder and she’s shown in the past how resilient a woman like her is. This title has shown just how much it means to the select few who have dedicated themselves to this division. Carter Caruthers gets a chance to become the Champion when in all honesty he hasn’t done anything to deserve it but since the UWA is the land of opportunity, he’s in the thick of things. Niles Gray wants his redemption, another who suddenly is thrown into the mix and I welcome the challenge, finally Mara Kade who is the first to throw insults and claim this is her rightful spot and she has been pretty unstoppable….

No denying that, a tough order for sure but even in an environment like this? She’s isn’t a sure thing though I’m sure Mara will do whatever it takes to convince everyone she is. The fact still remains….

This is anyone’s game, all it takes is for one person to climb the ladder and take it all.”

 

She pauses for a second, realizing that in this match it’s not who is the best but who is the luckiest. Realizing that this could be the match she loses her title because in a match like this, anything can happen, Peyton is focused. She looks back at the camera…

 

“Every single person in this match has a reason why they want to be Champion. It took me a long road to get here and watching what Christy Hightower went through, I didn’t expect anything else. Not too long ago I allowed my frustrations to get the better of me, it took some time to realize that was not the right approach. So, come Monday I’m doing one thing and that is fighting to keep this title around my waist. The ladder won’t be easy, it’s a dangerous match that require skill, toughness, smarts and ingenuity, Niles Gray has a lot to prove, Doc Morningwood wants to build on the legacy, Caruthers is here to shock the world, Mara Kade is ready to make good on all her talk. That’s fine, I want them all to be at their best, on the big stage, in the Main Event of Outbreak….

This is our chance and that’s what I plan to do. First though, I made a promise to be the best champion this division has seen, that’s a tall task considering who held this belt before me. Come Outbreak, not only will we shine but so will the Cruiserweights….

I will walk out Champion….

By giving my absolute best.”
