The Scene Opens….

 

The gorgeous, Peyton Rice walks down historic Chinatown in Yokohama, Japan. Wearing ripped jeans, wedge sandals and a UWA t-shirt with her long brunette hair hanging down, her toe nails polished white and looking stunning as ever. This is a huge match for Peyton and with so much on the line, she is up to the task. She nods as the camera starts to record…

 

REC:

 

She starts to speak in her cute, girly voice….

 

“Who what have thought there was a Chinatown in Japan? I find this to be really cool hence why I decided to come here and film my promo. Time to cut the crap here. Piper Street, you don’t like me, that’s fine, we are not always going to get along. I think the main reason was because you weren’t the center of attention at Ante Up, you felt like I was. No, Piper, I was simply very respectful and friendly, appreciative of all I learned from the Academy, if they liked my positive attitude, great, if they didn’t? That’s their choice, this was never a popularity contest, I came to learn, to train and wrestle, here I am. It seems like I get labeled a lot of things, I can’t argue with Andrea about the “hype” I was given and I thank her for the compliment about being a success but that is not true, I have a long way to go and short time to get there, that’s the pressure about hype, people expect big things from you, both Piper and Andrea are no different. Let’s face it ladies, we are the faces of the Cruiserweight Division along with Christy Hightower, we are the blood that pumps, every single Turmoil coming out to wrestle but now?

It’s different for me.

I get your struggles Andrea but you know what? If you let them define you then yeah, you deserve to not find what you are looking for. Pick yourself back up but it seems to me like you’re more afraid to fail and lose then you are of winning and becoming the Cruiserweight Champion. I can’t think like that, I walk into this match hungry, see I was given a taste of just how close I was to becoming the Champion at Olympus in front of that crowd, it was absolutely amazing.  Thing is, I want to have that feeling but this time holding the Championship belt over my head. I’m not going to allow my fears, my struggles or doubts faze me, that’s where you are lacking Andrea and I know you have the talent and the heart, no one is denying that one bit….

The hesitation?

The fear?

That will cost you against someone like Piper and me.”

 

Very serious and genuine, Peyton brushes her hair back some and takes a deep breath, ready to speak again…..

 

“This is it Andrea, if you don’t win here then what? Will you pick yourself back up and go at it again? Or finally walk away? You do the latter? Piper wins no matter whether she wins this match or not. As for you Piper, I know Savali is ready to do whatever it takes to help you win and what will that prove? Are you really going to spit in the face of Ante Up Academy and everything they taught you for a shortcut?

No!

I won’t go that route ladies, I still believe in integrity, we also have to remember that the Champion is the referee, so Christy, I challenge you now, not to a match but to go out there and call it down the middle, not who you want to face, who deserves to be at Sectioned and give you the fight of your life. I look for it to be me, I’m not standing here questioning my abilities, I won’t go on some narcissistic, self-absorbed rant about how great I am, this isn’t the end of the world if I lose but honestly….

I’m ready to take that next step and deliver on that hype this time. I have a lot of people watching, they put their faith in me, a burden I carry so I will NOT disappoint. Piper, you are a legacy, no question, prove it tomorrow night. Andrea, no fear, fight for what you believe in and bring it….

And Christy?

Do what’s right.

Ladies, after Turmoil?

Vs ANDREA HERNANDEZ & PENELOPE STREET: PART II

 

The Scene Opens….

 

The beautiful and bubbly Peyton Rice sits on the couch, barefoot with jeans and a t-shirt on, her long hair in a ponytail and toe nails polished white. Getting ready for one of the biggest matches of her life, the young Ante Up Academy Grad looks forward to her skills being tested but at the same time she does want to make an impact so that she may finally win her first Championship and beat a Champion worthy of defeating. She starts the recording….

 

REC:

 

Peyton looks into the camera with her green eyes and speaks…..

 

“I cherish every single moment I have in this sport and you know why? Legends like David Helms, Tommy Valentine and Matty Stone took the time to train and prepare me for the rigors of wrestling. Watching Sienna Swann, Kelcey Wallace and Taylor Chase come from the same background I have and succeed, all Champions of some sort gives me inspiration. I must admit though I heard what Andrea Hernandez both has said about me, it seems like she thinks I’m privileged? That I haven’t earned this moment because I haven’t struggled like she has? That bothers me a little and I will tell you why, with all due respect Andrea, trust me I get it, the frustration and the anxiety that comes with this sport is tough, winning is tough, losing is tougher, I haven’t been in wrestling long enough to know how hard it can be but I’m not blind, I try to stay positive for I too have struggled….

Dealing with a handicapped father who I looked up to, a man so strong saving people’s lives as a fire fighter now is forced to be in a wheelchair? I don’t care about race, color, religion, sexual orientation, I really don’t. All I care about is competition and winning this match so I can test myself against Christy Hightower and the Cruiserweight Championship. Look, I came here to be a part of something special, I did it the right way, I went to school to train and work hard so I can be at this level, I was given some good looks, had a nice little career in modeling, have been extremely lucky with my friends, family and those that I have met along the way. That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be here or I don’t have heart….

I don’t feel like I am self-entitled but that seems like the knock on me, I have the resources and suddenly I was immune to struggles and hard work?

 

That’s malarkey.”

 

Peyton rolls her eyes, trying to keep her emotions and check and trying to keep it cool, knowing that Andrea is angry. She looks back at the camera and speaks….

 

“Piper is even worse, she thinks that everything should be handed to her and again, I understand her legacy but the name doesn’t make the person, the person makes the name and if you are going to compare yourself with greats like Trinity, Kennedy and Regan Street, then you need to show it, stop singing it and bring it instead Piper. Andrea is right though, there is a lot of posturing here, you are going to do this and that, right? The problem is you never do anything on your own without Savali. She’s been softening me up for months now and I am still here which bothers you. Piper, thing is, I do understand where you are coming from, why you have this chip on your shoulder. The first time around, thinking you were ready, CNG was a hard lesson learned, that’s why you came to Ante Up Academy. I could see the chip on your shoulder and you know what else I saw?

Heart.

Just like Andrea, I saw it in you because you wanted to make it, you weren’t going to allow anything to hold you back, so what happened? Why do you need to take shortcuts, why does everything still need to be a huge production, looking down on others? We came from the same place and you rather piss on than honor the very foundation that was taught to you by the people who gave you the tools at a second chance?

Time for the Queen to fall and at Turmoil I will show why I have the heart and most of all?

The desire to get it done, pretty or not.”

 

Peyton just stares at the camera with narrowed eyes….

Vs. ANDREA & PIPER

 

The scene opens….

 

The beautiful Peyton Rice is sitting on her floor, leaning against the couch. Wearing jeans and a white t-shirt, barefoot with her toe nails polished white and her long brunette hair up in a double bun. The cute and determined rookie and cruiserweight is in the finals of the Tournament in a Triple Threat against Andrea Hernandez and Penelope “Piper” Street, the most intriguing part of this, Christy Hightower is the special guest referee. Peyton has a huge opportunity ahead as she starts the camera…

 

REC:

 

She speaks in her cute and sexy voice….

 

“When this tournament started I honestly didn’t know if I would make it this far and who I would compete against. The UWA Cruiserweight Division, I fought, given the chance to wrestle against some newcomers and see what the future holds here was exciting and at the same time painful. I wasn’t expecting to get hit in the face with a chair, I wasn’t ready to have a huge 300-pound woman obliterate me to the point I blacked out and can’t remember half the attack. I didn’t think people would stoop that low to gain an advantage, yeah, I know, I was naïve, right? How about cautiously optimistic, that sounds better. I do sometimes tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. I didn’t know I was wrestling Thamuz, I saw what he did in CNG, I gave it my best, I’m here in the finals. There wasn’t much tape to study on Carter Caruthers, I went into that match with one goal in mind, stick to my game plan, do what I do best and I should get the results I want…..

Now comes the finals and instead of wrestling one person, I wrestle both since Piper and Andrea had a double count out. I don’t want the easy way into the finals, I need to prove I belong there so I applaud the decision of David Helms to make it a Triple Threat, if I face Christy Hightower it’s because I EARNED it and beat the best of this division. There is a twist, Christy is the special referee, she could ultimately pick and choose who she wants to face, right? Well, I hope that Christy is a fighting champion with some integrity, not act a petulant child, like Cassidy Carter did who failed in this division and stole the belt for some sort of self-worth or to save face. That’s why I love the UWA, people think they can come in here and dominate?

They can’t, here you need to be your best, NOTHING is handed to you.”

 

She pauses for a moment and collects herself, shaking her head and thinking about the title being taken. Peyton looks back in the camera and speaks…

 

“Which is why I need to beat both Piper and Andrea at Turmoil to get that shot. Two ladies that are at the top of their game. Andrea who has come back with a vengeance after taking time off with an injury has been extremely impressive and is ready to make her mark by trying to walk out the winner. Penelope on the other hand is self-entitled, she thinks this is her destiny and it belongs to her. I will NEVER say ANYTHING negative about the Street family, they helped me when I was down, Regan has been awesome at Ante Up with David, unlike some others who want to clump you up with the rest of the family, I won’t, I’m not cliché.

Piper….

You’re a grown woman who makes her own decisions.

So is Andrea so let me put this out there right now ladies that way we are all on the same page. This match is high stakes, the winner wrestles at Sectioned for the Cruiserweight Championship. It would be my first title and that right there excites me. I don’t know what this match is going to bring but what I do know there are outside forces like Savali who want to destroy me, I must watch all my angles for truthfully, we can’t trust each other and even the referee who I do have faith she will do the right thing for the match and not for herself needs to hold down order….

Well, Andrea and Piper, I’m glad that you two get another chance, this will serve one purpose, that I won’t walk into the PPV….

I’ll stroll in victorious.”
